Free from toxicity?
Yes please.
Greetings to you, here is Sunday’s comic strip from The Observer New Review.
I drew this because the other day I had a dream that Donald Trump was living in my house. That crossed a line for me, I don’t want him or anyone like him living rent free in my subconscious. My bad habit of doom-scrolling is like a welcome mat for toxicity to enter and it needs to stop. There are so many antidotes to the doom scroll. Being outside without a phone is one and another is something that my little Fluffy has been engaging recently. Here is his latest post on his Instagram where he meets a a lady called Nana Anto-Awuakye in the libarary:
I’m very much enjoying Fluffy meeting people. Nana is truly a wonderful person as was Maria who he met last week, both with a huge capacity to love in their hearts and think of others. Interestingly, in their own way they both mentioned connecting with others in a meaningful way to Fluffy. I love this and think that this is just what we need in the world right now.
What do you think we need in the world right now and what small ways can we bring that about?
Thank you for reading. Wishing you a good week,
Simone
